Osteria Emilia is a red sauce supper club inspired by the bold flavors of the Emilia-Romagna region of Northern Italy and the longstanding traditions of the Midwest supper club. Created by the team behind SAGRA Food & Wine, we serve food that hits the spot. There is no pretense here, just generous portions, familiar flavors, and intuitive service in a space that feels both special and easy.
At its heart, an osteria is a casual gathering place. It is the kind of spot where locals come for hearty food, good company, and just the right amount of wine. We have taken that spirit and layered it with ice cream drinks, a cocktail list that pulls no punches, and asking the hard question of soup or salad.
Here, housemade meatballs sit next to Italian beef sandwiches. Pasta alla vodka shares a table with burgers and fries. You can start with a negroni, end with a grasshopper, and somewhere in between, we hope to be the kind of place that turns first time visitors into Saturday night regulars.
